Awesome! Keep going 💪

Please make sure the user(s) information is accurate before proceeding.

Stellar! You really are a superstar 🌟

Please make sure each user(s) permissions, locations and notifications are accurate before proceeding.

Team work makes the dream work! 🏝️

If you have more users to add take the time to add at least one while it’s fresh on your mind.

Welcome to Lesson Two, where I’m going to walk you through making sure your user profile is set up correctly and how to add new users to your Chatavise account.

To start, let’s go to the top right of the screen and click on the gear icon, then click on “Users.” Here, you’ll see the user profile of the account holder who opened the account. Click on the user to open the profile.

Here, take a second to upload that headshot of the user by clicking on the blue button right here. Also, make sure that the information on the right side is correct, as it was imported there from the onboarding process.

Pay special attention to the Email/User field and the Phone Number, as both of these fields are important to regain access to the account in case you need to reset your password. If you make any adjustments on this right side, make sure you click “Save.”

Now, let’s click on the Permissions tab. Here, ensure all the permissions you want are turned on.

Then, click on the Locations tab. Now, when you first start out, you’ll probably only see one location here, but if your business has multiple locations or multiple inboxes/phone numbers, this is where you can grant access to the user for specific inboxes.

On a side note: If you’re a serial entrepreneur and you have multiple different businesses operated by different team members, you can also control which users can see and engage with contacts for specific businesses.

Remember, we are the ultimate communication platform for any business in any industry that needs texting. So if you don’t know about our Ambassador Program, make sure to text me AMBASSADOR to my number:

(470) 375-9088 and I’ll make sure I send you some information.

Now, the next thing we’re going to do is click on the Notifications tab. Here, we give you two options:

  1. Push Notifications
  2. Email Notifications

I personally have my email notifications turned off, because it was a bit of overkill to have both—but that’s just my opinion.

The next thing to look at is which actions you want to be notified about. Once you choose the ones that you want, your user profile is all set up.

If you need to invite other users, then turn your attention to the top right of the screen and click on the “Invite a User” button.

Here, choose the appropriate role for the new user, then write their: First Name, Last Name, Email and Phone Number.

Next, you can:

  • Text them an invitation to log in
  • Email them an invitation
  • Or, if you just want to create their user profile without sending them an invite, click on the third option

Now, if you have many users to add to your Chatavise account—and you’re on the Business Plan, which has unlimited users—you can import a CSV file by clicking on the “Upload Users” tab.

With that said, I want to personally let you know that if you have a lot of users, we’ll help walk you through this process. There are many little details we can assist with to make sure the transition goes smoothly.

If you followed along during this lesson, the user profile(s) should now be set up. In the next lesson, we’ll go through setting up seven of Chatavise’s most fundamental features.

I’ll see you there!
